Corporate History

1987 - Caribou Moves to a larger location in Grande Prairie, Alberta
        - The “CABLEBUN” is invented.

1988 - The “Universal Skid” is invented.  

1989 - Caribou Holdings Inc. was renamed "Caribou Manufacturing Corporation."
        - Caribou moves form the Alberta Peace Country to Nisku Alberta (20 km south of Edmonton)
        - Caribou implements a vast distribution network that spans Canada, The United states,
          Australia and China.

1990 - The “HOSEBUN” is invented – A urethane hose suspension system – resulting in
         another company called “Hoshandlers International Inc.", Product line serviced 1” to 12” large
         bore hose resulting in a distribution network of over 1200 distributors worldwide. A
         manufacturing urethane processing plant and warehouses located across Untied sates, and
         over seas.
        - Caribou Invents “Pro-Rac” – Headache rack system. The first UNIVERSAL rack for all makes
          of  trucks

1991 - Caribou Invents “Skolo” – Portable basketball system invented and marketed to Sport check

1993 - Caribou Invents “Hydraulic Hose Caddy Lift” – Used in the Marine industry for lift heavy Large
          hose to coupler connections”

1995 - Caribou Invents “Pack-Rat” – A receiver tube carriage for the back of SUV and Vans.

1996 - Caribou Invents “Blast Hole Plug” – Used in the mining industry to cap blasting holes.
        - “Hose Caddy” – a marine transportation trolley system used on the docks.

1997 - Caribou Invents “Chizzler” – Industrial strength abs machine marketed throughout United
          States and Canada

2001 - Dan Horvath's son Matthew Horvath becomes the new owner and operator and moves Caribou
          to Sherwood Park Alberta.

2002 - Caribou relocates to south Edmonton Alberta.
        - Company re-structured to Contract Manufacturing services. Large scale manufacturing for
          Customer's products.

2004 - Alliances made with other major Manufacturing facilities.

2005 - Caribou introduces new product line "Trodden System" - Industrial step, and walk waysystems.

2005 - December - Caribou Moves to a new location - offering 8000 sq feet of shop floor space
          manufacturing

2006 - January - Mr.plasma Inc. start up - offering CNC Plasma cutting services - www.mrplasma.ca

2006 - Caribou introduces new product line "Mine Traffic Safety" - UV charging strobe delineators for
          hual truck roads.

2007 - New product line security screens and fencing.

2007 - Robotic welders.

2007 - 10' x 40' Plasma table and water jet - Mr. Plasma.

2007 - New location - 15 000 sq feet.
